Happy Period is a combination of therapies utilising traditional techniques to assist and support women with their reproductive health. This can be in the means of physical massage or by empowering women to recognise and understand the body’s natural cycles and patterns.
Whilst most women understand their bodies function and patterns, the combined process of massage and self-care raises greater awareness of these cyclical processes and the ability to make informed decisions based on demonstrable methods and understanding about the body and the reproductive system.
This can assist greatly with understanding your body and it’s signs of fertility, recognising when things may not be quite right and enabling you to make informed decisions to assist with correcting any irregularities.
Mizan (pronounced like Milan) is an Arabic word that means balance. By using traditional reproductive healing techniques, as a Mizan Therapist I will seek to restore balance when life feels unbalanced – physically, emotionally or spiritually. It is a gentle non-invasive massage working over the abdominal cavity, back and sacrum.
